Reserve Bank of India is the central bank of the country which annually conducts National Level Competitive Exam known RBI Grade B. The exam is conducted for the recruitment of Officers in Grade B.

Exam - Department of Economic Policy and Research (DEPR)

Papers - 3 Papers

Paper I - Objective Type (On Economics)
Duration - 120 Minutes 
Marks - 100 Marks

Paper II - Descriptive Type (On Economics)*
* Question paper displayed on computer, answers to be written on paper
Duration - 180 Minutes
Marks - 100 Marks

Paper III - Descriptive Type ( English)**
** To be typed with help of keyboard
Duration - 90 Minutes
Marks - 100 Marks

#Important Notes
Candidates have to secure minimum marks as may be prescribed by the Board. Candidates, who secure minimum aggregate marks in Paper I, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Paper-II/ Paper III of the examination based on the marks obtained in Paper-I. The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for Paper II and Paper III of the examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.
 
The number of candidates to be called for interview will be decided by the Board.  Final selection will be on the basis of performance in the ‘WE’ (Paper I, II and III) and interview taken together.
